Tom Voyce
Wasps Rugby is deeply saddened at the passing of our former player Tom Voyce and our thoughts go out to his family, friends and the rugby community at this difficult time.
Tom grew up in Cornwall and joined Bath in 2000 where he represented them 55 times before moving to Wasps for the golden part of his career. He played for our great club 124 times during his professional career scoring 215 points from 2003 to 2009, and was a key part of our multiple Premiership & Heineken Cup winning squads.
In November 2004 he scored the quickest try in premiership history when he gathered a loose ball from kick off and crossed by the posts in 9.63 seconds against Harlequins. He represented England 9 times and scoring 3 tries before moving onto Gloucester Rugby and London Welsh.
Post rugby he moved into the world of finance working for Baydonhill FX and Investec Bank PLC in the City of London before setting up his own business in the North of England.
Rest in peace Tom.
