Wasps Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup drives standards of grassroots rugby

The thriving Wasps Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup will be taking place on the 2nd of April at King Henry VII School Playing Fields (CV3 6AQ).


The ever popular Wasps Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup returns for its ninth season, with aspiring young rugby players across the country getting the chance to play a series of matches against other teams from their local area.

The Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup is a nationwide development programme for under 11 and under 12 teams.

The long running grassroots rugby series, supported by Land Rover since its inception, was the first of its kind to be officiated by Premiership Rugby and is run in conjunction with all 12 Premiership Rugby clubs.

The events are designed to provide the young players chance play completive fixtures in a format that is appropriate for their ages and stage of development all within the spirit of rugby’s core values of Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship.

The Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup, now in its ninth year, has seen nearly 68,000 children, take part to date, from all over the country.

So, get involved at Wasps and support the young stars of your local clubs.

All teams attending each Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup will be given the opportunity to win the chance to go to Twickenham for the Aviva Premiership Rugby Final on 27 May 2017.

Will we need to provide a referee? No, Wasps will be providing the referees for the day

How many teams can we enter? Initially each club will be limited to one team, if you wish to enter more than one team please let us know and we will inform you if there is space available nearer the date

How many clubs will be there? We will have a minimum 16 teams in each age group
