Thomas Young joined Wasps for the 2014/15 season from Gloucester, having come through the Academy system at Cardiff Blues.
The 25-year-old open side flanker, who is the son of Director of Rugby Dai Young, was a regular in the Welsh age grade set up, playing at U16, U18 and U20 levels, including the Junior World Championship in 2011. Young is part of a very competitive back row grouping at the Club.
In his first season in black and gold Young took his chances well, making 13 appearances and scoring five tries.
The Aberdare born player continued to take his opportunities in 2015/16 and had something of a breakthrough season. Under the tutelage of George Smith, Young made 20 appearances for Wasps and continued his impressive try scoring record with six tries.
Young enjoyed another fantastic campaign in 2016/17 making 30 appearances and scoring eight tries for the black and golds.
His fine form saw him named in the Wales 2017 Six Nations squad and Young made his long-awaited debut for Wales on the summer tour against Tonga at Eden Park, also appearing against Samoa in Apia a week later.
