Marcus Watson

Marcus Watson arrived at Wasps at the beginning of the 2017-2018 season.

Starting his career at London Irish, he made his way to Saracens assisting them to win the JP Morgan Sevens. After three years of playing for England Sevens on the World Rugby Sevens Circuit, Watson transitioned back to the 15-a-side game with Newcastle Falcons, where he spent two seasons.

The older brother of England and Lions winger Anthony Watson, Marcus won a silver medal in the Rio Olympic Games in 2016, representing the Great Britain Rugby Sevens squad.

The 26-year-old showed his talent to Wasps’ fans when his astonishing speed allowed him to run in a try 60 metres from the restart against the men in black and gold at Kingston Park.

His searing pace, fast feet and agility will see him blend perfectly into Wasps’ exciting style of play during the 2017-2018 campaign.
