Michael LeBourgeois

Wasps new signing is a talented utility back, capable of high levels of performance at fly half, centre and full back. Le Bourgeois was named as RPA Championship player-of-the-season following a stellar 2017/18 campaign with Bedford.

The Blues skipper was also selected in the Rugby Paper’s Championship dream team.

The Channel Islander began his career with his local club, Jersey, as an 18-year-old. He went on to make over 100 appearances and score nearly 900 points for the Reds across six seasons, playing a key role in their progress from English rugby’s sixth tier to the Championship, where he scored their first ever try.

This provided the springboard for Le Bourgeois’s five-year stay at Goldington Road, which began in 2013 and saw him clock up close to 100 appearances in the Championship and British & Irish Cup.
