Wasps face Connacht, Toulouse and Zebre in the 2016/17 Champions Cup

Wasps have been drawn in Pool 2 of the European Champions Cup along with Connacht, Toulouse and Zebre.

With the Final to be hosted at the BT Murrayfield Stadium on Saturday 13 May, Wasps will face trips to Ireland, France and Italy in their attempt to qualify for the knockout stages of the competition.

Reigning Pro12 Champions Connacht are the Tier 1 side in Pool 2 and Wasps will face a tough trip to Galway to face the top-ranked Irish side as part of their Champions Cup campaign.

Toulouse are the most successful side in Europe, having won the tournament a record four times and qualifying for the top competition every season since it’s creation in 1995.

Zebre complete a tough European pool and the side from Parma will provide a tough prospect, having taken the scalps of Edinburgh, Cardiff Blues, Treviso and Newport Gwent Dragons in last season’s Pro12.
